EDD is the alias of sound artist Edoardo Maria Bellucci, closely aligned with the beat/IDM variations of electronic sound. His aesthetic draws from the experimental and avant-garde music of recent decades, reorganizing sound materials with complex and multifaceted timbres through incisive and often irregular rhythmic structures. From this fusion emerge original productions permeated with techno, glitch, and deconstructed stylistic elements, developing in a refined and unpredictable manner. His debut album, bin_mod, was published as the first release of the DIACRONIE media label, of which he is a co-founder and artistic director.

"bin_mod" stands as the debut official release by the artist EDD (Edoardo Maria Bellucci) and marks the initial offering from the DIACRONIE media label. Self-proclaimed by the artist as the "sonic manifesto of the project", the album represents an effective exploration of abstract electronic sounds with complex articulation, restructured and regulated by rhythmic structures inherently tied to club culture-influenced beats.
"bin_mod aims to allude to how complex algorithmic rules for sound processing (with 'bin' signifying binary in the digital sense) can be effective in modulating and reorganizing complex timbral structures derived from the surrounding environment or anomalies of analog machines subjected to improbable efforts (with 'mod' referring to modulation, re-articulation)."
Each track unfolds as a complex and recursive system achieved through the simultaneous presence of multiple concrete sources processed in real time by time-variable sound treatment algorithms. Subsequently, extracting the most significant gestures, the entire composition is reorganized.
The A/V performance of the album is born from a collaboration with visual artist Edoardo Staffa (Blume), who is also a member of the DIACRONIE team. In this performance, the musical execution structure is entirely linked to a series of control and generation parameters for the visual material, created based on an imagery that stems from a concept similar to the album's generative theme.
